THE SOUND OF REVENGE

“Where language ends, the beat of vengeance begins.”

The soundtrack to REVENGE is not mere background music—it sets the pace for a new era of martial arts cinema. Hysta (Explicit Wish) is set to serve as producer for the saga’s acoustic identity, creating the unmistakable, hard-hitting sound of the “Death Bride.”

The Vision: Hardcore Meets Justice

In close synergy with writer Daniel Hartmann’s vision, Hysta’s sound will bring the story’s dark atmosphere (possibly 5 parts) to life acoustically. The central song “Shadows of Justice” defines this direction:

The intro: A striking, distorted bass loop symbolizing Jessi Green’s pent-up rage.

The escalation: The transition into an aggressive hardcore instrumental that makes the intensity of revenge palpable.

Unique concept: “Killing in the Beat”

A unique selling point of the Revenge saga is the technical choreography. In key scenes—such as the merciless fight against Roco to the track “Exitus”—the action is precisely synchronized with the hardcore beat.

Every strike and every slash with the sword is in sync with the bass, causing the film and music to merge into an unstoppable unity.

From Gothic Look to Death Bride

The soundtrack accompanies Jessi Green’s traumatic journey: from the despair over the murder of her parents, Tina and Peter, to the uncompromising hunt for the gang. Hysta’s sound underscores Jessi’s transformation and lends her iconic appearance—with the Gothic Lolita boots and corset—the necessary acoustic intensity.

Status: Soundtrack in development. Music production (Explicit Wish): Hysta.
